  • Based on an original Asmara painting by Elizabeth Moisan inspired by an English embroidery. Exuberant blues, reds, yellows, greens sit on a cream and yellow scrolled background.
  • This hand made cut and loop pile rug was made by combining a loop weave invented by Asmara with the ancient French Savonnerie pile weave. Woven with a complex yarn made up several yarns of different shades, this rug has a unique texture and shading variations reminiscent of rare antique rugs.
  • Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA.
  • Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Unlike most other rug makers, Asmara never uses chemical washes.
  • Use with a pad.
