  • Based on an original Asmara painting by Tracy Schmidt after researching 18th century white plaster ceiling patterns of architect Robert Adams and the drawings of Piranesi. Olive and raspberry toned patterns interlink octagonal medallions as in a painted coffered ceiling.
  • Combining ancient Savonnerie dyeing and weaving methods with a loop weave invented by Asmara, this cut and loop pile rug has subtle shade and texture variations reminiscent of the best antique rugs.
  • Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA.
  • Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Unlike most other rug makers, Asmara never uses chemical washes.
  • Use with a pad.
