  • Chipping is based on an original Asmara painting inspired by the chair back patterns in the work of the legendary 18th century English cabinetmaker Thomas Chippendale. Beige fretwork patterns cover an ivory background.
  • Made with fine quality hand spun wool yarns, this highly textured hand made needlepoint rug has natural variations in colors and texture similar to antique rugs.
  • Also available in needlepoint, as shown at right.
  • Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA.
  • Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Unlike most other rug makers, Asmara never uses chemical washes.
