Branches Aubusson Rug

Style #: 5151E
  • Based on an original Asmara painting by Elizabeth Moisan, an admirer of the great 18th century English textile artist Ana Maria Garthwaite. The colors are inspired by early 20th century English botanical paintings. Wedgewood blue, violet, butter-yellow and garnet flowers branch out to make a trellis on a pale yellow ground.
  • Made with ancient French Aubusson dyeing and weaving methods, this hand woven Aubusson flat weave rug has thousands of subtle color shades, similar to antique Aubusson rugs.
  • Also available in needlepoint, shown at right, and cut and loop pile.
  • Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA.
  • Green manufacturing methods were used to make this rug.
