Blue Summer Needlepoint Rug

  • Based on an original Asmara painting done in the style of Pompeian Frescoes of ceiling paintings. Yellow-green leaves and flowers in shades of porcelain-blue, persimmon and yellow branch toward the center on a cream and oatmeal, fresco ground.
  • Using ancient French dyeing methods, thousands of subtle color shades give this hand made needlepoint rug a look reminiscent of the frescoes of Pompeii
  • Also available in loop and pile as shown at right.
  • Has passed independent durability tests by the Independent Textile Service of Dalton, Georgia, USA.
  • Green manufacturing methods make this rug safe for children and pets. Unlike most other rug makers, Asmara never uses chemical washes.
  • Use with a pad.
